The Powell family of construction companies is a proud member of the Des Moines community. We enjoy participating in community organizations and service projects.

In July, we sponsor the "Fireworks Over Des Moines" celebration of Independence Day. The 4th just wouldn't be the same without the light show and big bangs. Have we seen you there? Keep your eyes peeled for firework donation stations in local businesses around Des Moines.

Every year we participate in the Rampathon event sponsored by the Master Builders of King and Snohomish Counties. We proudly build an access ramp for a disabled member of our community who is in need. Properly constructed access ramps increase the safety and mobility of the homeowner.

We help to sponsor other events you enjoy, such as the Normandy Park free "Music In The Park" series, the Des Moines "Dollars for Scholars" awards, and the Des Moines Senior Activities Center's Winter Brunch.
